This is my reflective journal of my current programme Diploma in Business module,English II course.This module conduct by Miss Christina A/P Vanathas.Since this time is the 2nd semester of my programme,so the module English this time is a bit harder than last semester because the things we has to learn had increased.But still,Lecturer Christina still guide us along the way of our education,helping those students whoever have problem in their studies.

 

          Around month January,theres an profesionnal developement activity been held at our campus and required us Diploma in Business students to attend it.The first activity is talk about "How to Interview at a Job" and the second one is "Teach you how to do on an Online Business".Me quite satisfied after attend those activities because i've learned a lot knowledge and experience fromit.Not long after,having few weeks of classes,Miss Christina had assigned us to form a group of 4 to 5 member to do a group assignment due date on February 10th.Actually the actual due date is on February 7th but Miss Christina had postponed for us because of Chinese New Year holiday.Our objective for this time group assignment is choose an successful Entrepreneur,and do research on this person.So our group member Ben,Bin Hao,Wei Shan and me started to brainstorm together few days later.At first time discussion,it always so hard to make up a same idea together because happen disagreeness among our group.After few hours of brainstorming,we finally make out an idea and everyone agree with it,we decided to do on McDonald Founder,Ray Kroc.

 

          We wouldn't know who was the McDonald's founder until that day we decided to choose that entrepreneur and write story about him.So we've been do a lot of research Ray Kroc on internet,magazine,newspaper and so on.Lastly we found out a few amazing facts that we didnt know about McDonald corporation.One of the fact is Ray Kroc was not the one founding McDonalds.It was the McDonald brothers Dick and Maurice McDonald,but Ray Kroc was the one who expand the bussiness to successful until today.Furthermore,50 years ago McDonald corporation already been awarded as World Largest Food Supplier around the world,this is what make us shocked about it.Right after we finish do the research about the entrepreneur,then we started to do porposal and make a CD about the entrepreneur and pass it up as our group assignment work.Working on porposal was not much hard though for all of us,what make us headache is making a CD on it.

 

          Content in the CD have to include a video presentation about the entrepreneur we choose,story about that person and how did that person become successful.Beside that,we have to recorded audio as well to put inside the  video,each of us member have to narrate part of the person story by recording audio.Well,i'm the one responsible for this job so first i have to make a script for each of us,then recorded it and finish the rest of the work.Few days of  days and hours and struggling,our group assignment finally pass up to our lecturer Miss Christina,hope we can pass for the assignment mark.
