Reflective Journal
This is my reflective journal of my current programme Diploma in Business,Principles of Marketing.This is conducted by our beloved lecturer Mr.Vincent.Mr Vincent has always been a kind of responsible lecturer,through every lecture or tutorial,he always taught with patience and once if any of us got question about that day lecture class,he will sincerely explained clearly until we’re understand.
Beside that,Mr.Vincent is a kind of person that sense of humour too.Since the first day of lecture,he already started to joke with us sometime so make us won’t feel like boring during lecture.During the first week of lecture,Mr Vincent has already started to brief about the MIB,brief about the Individual Assignment and Group Assignment that need to be due within after few weeks. Some day around November 2013,our first individual assignment is we have to choose between two debate assignment to work on.We have to write about the topics we chosed and state why do we choose that topic.So my written topic is about “Customer is always right”.We can choose either to support or reject this claim.After thinking a while,I chosed to support this claim.When I started to do this assignment,I searched over information from Internet first so that might be help me out a bit on written this assignment.It’s not an easy job though,but still,I finish it within just two days.
Furthermore,here’s the Group Assignment.So we’ve been asked to formed a group of 4 member.Our group member is Yap Wei Shan,Gay Bin Hao,Ang Yi Xiong and me.Leader in this group is Gay Bin Hao.Our assignment is we have to do research on any companies on how they use different type of segmentations in marketing different types of products offered in the market.We immediately discussed the group assignment not long aafter that.During our discussion,the first company we thought about is R&G Company.It’s a Big company that produced various of products such as shampoo,perfume,beverages and other daily items.But then we changed to other company Bata Shoes company because we found out the company we choose is chosen by other group so we can’t use it.Althougth sometime do happen disagreement among our group,but still,we still finished the work as a team.
