My name is Edison Chua Heng Yuan,currently studying in Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus and  a Diploma in Business’s student.This is my journal reflective writing of my university life at Taylor and of course the lesson and experience that I learned from the subject I attended which is Computer Application and Data processing.

 

          First of all,studying in Taylor University probably is one of the most recommended for fresh students who wanted to further their studies after finish SPM.I am saying like this is because Taylor University have the best studying environment in the school,providing best facilities to students so that students can comfortly studying in Taylor and the teachers in Taylor will giving the best advice to every students so that can make sure their student have excellent result.

 

          Until today,I had attented various subjects included in my Diploma in Business course which is Computer Application and Data Processing and conducted by Ms Leow Yen Mee.This subject might not be one of my interest subject at 1st but the way Ms Leow she teaching had make me become more interested to this subject.Whenever we having problem or have any question about the subject,she will sincerely giving her best advice to the student and patiently teaching the students one by one.Through the lesson I had in this course,I had learned what’s the important of Computer using in nowadays,doesn’t matter in the business world or our daily life.Althought computer has bring much of benefits to our human being,but the wrong using of computer will also bring disadvantages too.

 

          The disadvantages of using computer got few kinds,it can be in kind of privacy harm,health harm and so on.The most serious is privacy violation.Privacy violation is count as a major case in the Business World.This is because privacy violation such as Bank Account number been stolen,privacy information detected and so on can bring huge effect to a Business person to their business such as facing loss in the business or even Financial broke down.On the other hand,during every tutorial classes of this subject I attended,I had learned quite not least useful thing too,one of the thing I found more useful is the application that can store data or files on the internet called Google Docs.We can simply just save our files or document on the internet by just simply uploading the files on the Google Docs and save it,but first of all need to sign up for Google Docs to do so.

         

          Lastly,the most unforgettable experience I had since I started my university life in Taylor is doing my group assignment.Ms Leow told us to form a group of 5 members for the group assignment,it’s about making a new idea of smartphone application that might useful to nowadays smartphone user and we had to create our own video about it.So first time the idea that came in our mind is about an application that can stop the theft,but after while of discussion we decided to change the idea,and we change it to a delivery food application called “Speedy Delivery”.During the process of filming this video,the most rough time is choosing the location of shooting and how the story line going.As a Director of this video making,I had to keep thinking new idea on how to filming the video and making the storyline.The most hard part is editing the video,that’s the time my mind almost blow off.But at last,because of the good cooperation among the members,the video is finally out.We did laughed a couple times when watching the video,because it quite funny too.
